When one thinks of the home, the body is reflected. The body, a vessel for the the sensations stirred by what unfolds within it. The house can be conceived as a body—and vice versa. The body, much like a room, becomes a vessel for one’s surroundings—a vessel that is living and ever-changing.

The works draw upon the abject and visceral aspects of the body, manifesting as entities—or anti-bodies—that inhabit the space and transform the gallery into a home. Uncertainty in the living area, vulnerability in the bedroom, a small box of affection in the hallway... crafted from reclaimed fabric, these works clothe, shelter, and embody a narrative woven through relationships and presence. The house is fluid, just like the body; it is more than a mere location—it is living flesh.
